The Oklahoma StockDog Association, was created in the 1986 from a group of interested dog trialers and herding enthusiasts. The new association held its first trial at the 1986 Oklahoma State Fair. It is comprised of people and dogs that work both cattle and sheep. The Association was active in providing help for the USBCHA National Sheepdog Finals when they were held in El Reno in 1998 and 2000 and has a strong showing at the Oklahoma State Fair dog trial each year. Although still a small club, the members are active and provide a good showing with their dogs at various trials in Oklahoma as well as Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Texas. The club provides playdays and information for folks that are interested in getting involved with stockdogs.

Trial Results Reporting to USBCHA

As of 8/17/16 the BOD has changed the requirements for reporting the results of trials. From this date on you need to submit a list of the the top 20% placing in your trial, in order of placement, along with a run order documenting scratches and non-compete runs. See www.usbcha.com for more information on this.
