What a beautiful place to have a dog trial. Thank you so much to Mike Minor and
the Hines for hosting this trial. The scenery was gorgeous and the weather was
perfect. The cattle were fresh, but manageable and nice to work. The course was
challenging with a creek as a natural obstacle. The dogs had to cross the creek
to fetch the cattle and bring them back across. There were a few dogs that
hesitated and weren't sure what to think about the creek at first, but they all
conquered it and showed what these dogs are all about. Thanks to everyone who
pitched in and helped out at the trial. I sure hope this trial can become an annual
event!
